How to successfully downgrade rage client to 0.3.7?

As the title says, I want to down Rage client to 0.3.7 because I have downloaded this game mode here - https://ragemp.pro/threads/sborka-s...p-sliv-rage-mp-0-3-7.1853/page-66#post-128247 , from which I understood that I would need that specific version to be able to run it ?
The issue is that after editing config.xml to this - <channel>prerelease_1_51_0</channel> and running the updater.exe, after finishing , the updater will actually remove the edit I have added, and it will stil run on the latest version.

How can I bypass that, if I understood it correctly?

Meaning you cant downgrade to 0.3.7, because it uses absolutely different syncing, while 1.1 is superior to it, just stay with current stable 1.1.

I only thought that this is the right approac due to the error I get when firing up the server.exe from this gamemode - https://ragemp.pro/threads/sborka-servera-dednet-role-play-state-99-rp-sliv-rage-mp-0-3-7.1853/ and when connecting to it using the Rage client, client closes itself and the last message I see is - Validating server assets; and it's gone. I thought I must somehow downgrade to 0.3.7, or atleast that's where the google translation led me to, from translating the whole page from russian into en xd

You need to upgrade 0.3.7 gamemode to 1.1 and not downgrade 1.1 client to 0.3.7.
Current ragemp version is 1.1, stick with it.

Anyways I dont recommend you wasting a lot of time upgrading old 0.3.7 gamemodes to current version.
